Terms of Service

By booking or using a Scoops Co. service, you agree to these terms. They describe how scheduling, billing, cancellation, and liability work.
Service area
We currently serve residential and commercial properties in Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda, California. We may extend service to neighboring areas case-by-case.
Scheduling
Recurring service is assigned a regular weekday. We send a 2-hour arrival window the day before each visit. We may shift visits ±1 day for weather, holidays, or routing — you'll always be notified in advance.
Access
You're responsible for ensuring safe yard access (unlocked gate or shared code). If we cannot access the yard at the scheduled time, the visit is still considered complete and billable. We will always re-secure the gate on departure.
Billing
Recurring plans are billed monthly (or quarterly with the 10% discount option). Payments are processed via Stripe. One-time cleans are billed up front. Failed payments may result in service pause until resolved.
Cancellation
You may pause or cancel any time by texting or calling. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — no prorated refunds for the remainder of the cycle.
Pets & safety
If a pet displays aggressive behavior, our crew will leave the property and bill the visit. We reserve the right to decline service for any property where staff safety cannot be assured.
Liability
Scoops Co. carries general liability insurance. We are not responsible for pre-existing yard damage, irrigation lines, hidden landscaping, or items left in service zones. Maximum liability for any incident is limited to one month of service fees.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance.
