Scoops Co. ("we," "us") provides pet waste removal services in Portland, Oregon. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Contact details: name, phone number, email, service address.
• Service details: number of pets, frequency, gate codes, special instructions.
• Payment details: processed by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers.
• Site usage: standard server logs and analytics events (pages viewed, button clicks). No third-party advertising trackers.

How we use it

• To schedule and complete services you've requested.
• To send appointment confirmations, arrival texts, and "yard secured" notifications.
• To process payment and issue receipts.
• To respond to questions and improve our service quality.

SMS messaging consent

By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box during signup, you opt in to receive transactional SMS messages from Scoops Co. about your service. Message types include:

• Pickup confirmation after you book.
• Day-before reminder before each scheduled visit.
• "Yard secured" confirmation immediately after each visit.
• Occasional account or billing notices (payment failure, schedule change).

Frequency: up to ~6 messages per month per active subscription. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS opt-in is not a condition of purchasing service — you can still receive service without text messages by leaving the SMS consent box unchecked (we'll coordinate by email or call instead).

We do not share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing or affiliate purposes. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the transactional messages described above through our messaging vendor (Twilio).

Who we share with

We share information only with vendors who help us run the business: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS delivery), and our scheduling software. None of these vendors are authorized to use your information for their own marketing. We do not sell your information.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA — including the right to opt out of any sale or sharing (which we do not engage in).
